IFT install screed at former Aldi Store which has been bought by B&M Bargains

IFT was subcontracted by Forster Tullett Construction to install 990sqm screed to the former Aldi store at Wallsend. The team installed 80mm thick Retanol Xtreme screed, slurry bonded to the substrate to receive vinyl flooring.

The store, which was formerly an Aldi, has been bought by B&M Bargains who are currently next door and are expanding into both units.

“I’m happy with the works carried out and with the flexibility you offered in delaying your works to allow us to undertake the additional strip out we were asked to complete. It didn’t increase the screeding costs or move the completion date which has ultimately kept our client happy. From our first site meeting, right through to the finished works, IFT have provided a hassle-free service which we would be happy to use again.” Graham Tullett, Director, Forster Tullett Group
