Floor Surface Preparation

A clean, sound and well-prepared surface is absolutely essential in ensuring that any applied floor finish will perform satisfactorily.

Cement laitance, existing coatings and any contamination must be removed prior to the finish being applied.

The specialised preparatory techniques we use include:

• Closed Circuit Abrasive Blasting (shown above)
• Scarification & Abrasion
• Diamond Grinding
• Hot Compressed Air for impregnated contamination

We utilise plant for these operations from Hilti and SPE who are leading companies within the preparation equipment industry.

We conduct and supply Method Statements and Risk Assessments, in conjunction with our specialist H&S advisors, for all the floor surface preparation work we undertake. We also ensure that our Operatives are fully trained and certificated for all these activities.
